The Friday, June 30, 2017 marks the 28th anniversary of the military Coup d’état, led by the notorious National Islamic Front (NIF), the global Muslim Brotherhood Movement (MBM) which undermined the democratically elected government in Sudan to litter the land with corruption, genocidal killing, displacement and impoverishment. During their reign Sudan became a rogue and pariah state in the eyes of the world because of the criminal acts practiced by the gang of the ruling regime of the National Congress Party (NCP). At this moment we remember a huge number of revolutionary figures who martyred and went as the victims of the crimes of Omer Hassan Ahmed al- Bashir and the entourage of his regime. We remember and salute the martyrs of the Darfur region, the martyrs of Kordofan, the martyrs of the south of the Sudan and the martyrs of the Manaseer region, martyrs of Gezira and the martyrs of Port Sudan. The Sudanese people will remember the killing of Majdi Mahjoub, pilot Girgis and Doctor Ali Fadul along with the martyrs of Ramadan 28, martyrs of the area Manaseer and Kajbar and the martyrs of the Intifada and the martyrs 19 September 2013.

During these times, we remember prisoners of war and prisoners of conscience who have been languishing in the in the prisons of the ruling regime of the outgoing National Congress Party and we commend and highly value their great signs of steadfastness. We hope Healing for wounded everywhere in the swathes of Sudan.

The National Islamic Front (NIF), as soon as rested assured on the helm, considered the people of Sudan in the Southern Sudan, region of Darfur and the marginalised territories as its prime archenemies and declared Jihad warfare against the civilian Sudanese citizens. They classified Sudanese people according to the concept of either with us or against us. In their quest for empowerment, (NIF) hard liners adopted a policy of dismissal of government employees allegedly thought potentially disloyal under the pretext of the so-called ‘Public Good/Interest’. Thus, hundreds of workers and officials in the Civil Service have been dismissed and replaced by inept unqualified individuals affiliated to the (NIF). The (NIF) Putschists gave the nickname of (Dismissal for Pubic Good) that phenomenologically farcical process.

Furthermore, they portrayed the war against the Southern Sudan, Sudan People’s Liberation Movement Army (SPLM/A) Rebels as a Jihad employing the regular Sudan Armed Force (SAF) and the militia Popular Defence Forces (PDF) which they portrayed as Mujahideen. The Majority of the (PDF) were conscripts from amongst high school, college and university students. Regular TV programme calling for jihad against the infidels known as (In the backyards of redemption) accompanied. NIF described their dead as martyrs and described the other dead in southern Sudan war as (Matt Fetaiz), the phrase means that others slain by their army as Rotten Fetid Corpses- according to their own words and phraseology. On the political front, the putschist regime dissolved the parliament, political parties and their representatives, who were members of it and imposed emergency laws all over the Sudan, and seized the banks and they by virtue of a deterrent decreed penalty included lynching for every person who owned hard foreign currencies such as the US dollar, British Pound after the forfeiture and the confiscation of the amount. Moreover, they claimed that they came with what they called as Civilisational Project and Apostolic Orientation for the Islamisation of Sudan and the people of the country. Furthermore, they claimed that they will fight America and Russia which their Torment has approached they have met what hurts them, so to speak! However, hypocrisy is lanyard as the popular saying goes, and very soon the putschists agreed secretly with the US intelligence agency (CIA) to provide intelligence on the movements of Islamic jihadist terrorists that had taken Khartoum as a safe haven refuge.

The putschist entity of (NIF) had committed a heinous crime against their companions in the Sudan Armed Force (SAF), which included non-commissioned officers and officers of more than thirty on the pretext that they were involved in an alleged military coup attempt against them. The Execution of those 28 military officers took place on the Holy Month of Ramadan, which coincided April 23, 1990 in an ugly image representing treachery and betrayal. Thus, began the first step towards dismantling the Sudanese army in favour of the lords of the National Islamic Front (NIF) until the armed forces have become a monopoly; but later replaced by the Janjaweed militias and mercenaries that waged proxy civil wars on behalf of Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir and his entourage against the Sudanese unarmed noncombatant civilian citizens in Darfur where crimes of genocide have been systematically committed, 28 years on today’s date.

Darfur Forced to Take up to Arms

Moreover, when the people of Darfur who have suffered from systematic marginalisation by the successive governments led by the political elites, the majority of whom were descendants from the Northern Region since the Independence of Sudan in January 1956 from British colonialists rule. The then Brigadier Omar Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir, virtually the leader of the regime, said publicly that he would not negotiate with anyone who did not carry weapons. Bashir’s statement forced the young men of the Region to take up to arms on February 2003 in quest for the legitimate rights of citizenship which include wealth sharing and power sharing and removal of systematic marginalisation and chronic deprivation which they and their people suffered and rights have been denied for so long. Moreover, they included those grievances in the Black Book imbalance of power and wealth in Sudan written around the end of the year 1999 by intellectuals from the Darfur region, a group led by Martyr Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Muhammad, Allah forgive him and bless his soul.

The Janjaweed unleashed to run havoc

When army and Janjaweed militias of the regime subjected to defeats at the hands of gallant Darfur armed movements rebel forces in all locations and battle fields, the Khartoum government has decided to take revenge on civilians rather than confronting the rebels. It unleashed the Janjaweed militias to wreak havoc and corruption on earth, burning villages and looting property of citizens and killing women, kids and the elderly. Based on the war crimes perpetrated in the form of crimes against humanity, war crimes and genocide, the international Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant to apprehend the head of the regime Omar Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir. Furthermore, the (ICC) issued arrest warrants of the former defence Minister Abdelrahim Mohammed Hussein and Ahmed Mohamed Haroun, former state minister of interior, and Ali Abdelrahman Kushayb, leader of the Janjaweed militias, all of whom remain fugitives from international justice. Moreover, the NCP regime in order to be capable to carry out further atrocious crimes against the people of Sudan in Darfur, worked relentlessly for getting rid of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID). However, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) continued extending the period of the (UNAMID) Force yearly. Accordingly, the UN Security Council and the Peace and Security Council of the African Union have considered extending the Mandate of (UNAMID) for 12 months, until 30 June 2017, without modifying its priorities or adjusting its authorized troop and police ceiling. http://www.un.org/en/ga/search/view_doc.asp?symbol=S/2016/510.

NCP regime waging War on Citizens while swathes of Sudan’s land occupied by Foreigners

The (NCP) regime has been waging futile warfare against fellow citizens while swathes of the soil of Sudan remain under the occupation by foreign neighbouring countries. These are the Sudanese territories occupied by the Egyptian army in Halayeb and Shalateen In addition to an area of 600 thousand in Fashaga occupied by Ethiopia. The (NCP) regime behaves, as the popular proverb says, he behaves as a lion on unarmed noncombatant civilian citizens of Sudan in Darfur though just an Ostrich in wars with who attacked and seized a vast swathes of areas of the dear homeland!

Inciting Intertribal Warfare

Furthermore, in the Darfur region, the regime of the NCP sought in addition to the crimes of genocide to fragment the eternal social fabric of the citizens by dividing the region into five states based on the tribal lines. As expected, that led into tribal strife and intertribal warfare. Worse, the regime held a bogus referendum for the revocation of the region so as the word and opinion of the people of Darfur fragmented and divided toward their vital issues. Thus, the NCP regime vehemently opposed to Darfur remaining as one region and opted for dismantling it into warring tribal cantons with fragmentation of the social fabric.

Systematic Government Corruption Widespread

The epidemic of government corruption remained widely spread in the decadence era of the (NIF). They looted the country’s oil and gold revenues to foreign banks under the names of relatives of influential people in the regime of the National Congress Party accounts. Furthermore, the putschists as well as sold the major  productive state institutions such as the Gezira irrigated agriculture project, Sudan Airways, Sudan Shipping Lines, Sudan railway corporation and privatization of education and health services and so on! Moreover, they sold the famous Sudan House in the Knight Bridge neighborhood in London cheaply to a crony investor of the (NCP) regime as well selling the airstrip of the Sudan Airways (Sudan air) at Heathrow Airport.  For the legalization of corruption, the Islamism regime of the (NCP) decided to urge the religious Sheikhs affiliated to it introducing the so-called (Tahalul), meaning biodegradable decomposition and disintegration, which according to their Religious Fatwa removes “Haram” and make it Halal! Still the worse is on the way. The racist supremacist elements in the regime made the unity in Sudan unattractive to the citizens of Southern Sudan through racism by making them take the option of secession and formation of their own   nascent state, South Sudan, in 2011. There are plenty of calamities brought about by the ruling regime of the National Congress Party (NCP) to the disenfranchised people of Sudan, but the space does not accommodate the entire reminder.

The genocidal criminal Omar al-Bashir and his Islamism claiming entourage will remain held responsible for the heinous crimes they perpetrated in the rights of the Sudanese people over the 27 lean years of oppressive putschist regime. Thus, autocracy and reign of terror continued for past 27 years despite the fact that the people of Sudan used in the past staunch advocates of fighting for freedom, October 21, 1964 and April 1985 Revolutions as examples.

Unlimited support the genocidal criminal Omar al-Bashir from the African Union

Omar al-Bashir and his regime took proxy civil wars of attrition safe haven to protect him from the International Court of Court’s (ICC) grip, which has been pursuing him since 2009. This is in addition to the support he receives from the Dictators Club called the African Union (AU) based in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. Most of the members of the forum there are afraid of the spin of the circle upon them and fall under the accountability of the international Tribunal. Majority of the Club Members practiced systemic repression and continued committing atrocities against the people of their countries.

Support from Some members in the International Community

The (NCP) regime receives political support provided by some permanent members of the UN Security Council. That support is in lieu of the intersecting interests in the form of intelligence on terrorism by the Islamic Jihadi groups from Egypt, Libya and other neighboring countries, which take Khartoum as refuge on their belief that the Islamist regime of the National Congress Party would give them protection.

EU –Sudan agreement to Curb Migration exodus from the Horn of Africa to European shores by rewarding the Génocidaire Omer al-Bashir

It is not so exciting or surprising if we look at what the European Union (EU) recently trying to strike a deal with Khartoum. (EU) planned for reaching an agreement with the ruling regime in Sudan for reducing migrants coming from the Horn of Africa countries to Europe through Libya. Germany is to provide an amount of one hundred million euros to Sudan, in addition to the establishment of camps in Eastern Sudan for refugees from Eritrea and Ethiopia, and Somalia. Moreover, there is other additional package of facilities for the training of Sudanese police in Germany to carry out the task of reducing immigration to Europe. They ignored and flouted all the crimes committed by the head of the ruling regime of the NCP, Omar Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir against humanity against the people of Sudan in Darfur, and fugitive from international justice and indicted by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Machiavellian doctrine of end justify the means continues in operation.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and UNAMID Size and Mandate Change in Darfur

To make bad situation worse, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) decided to reduce the size of the UNAMID Mission in Darfur by 50% and as well as changing its Mandate from peace and Security keeping to Peace Building Mission on the pretext of cost where US has decided to reduce its financial contribution and/or that insurgence in Darfur has allegedly become thing of the past based on reports by the Sudanese government and some UN report writers! As for the people of Sudan in Darfur, UNAMID Exit or change of its primary mandate would Open Gates for Anarchy, more Lawlessness and hell on earth in Darfur.

We know that The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) last time has renewed the mandate of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) until Friday the 30th June 2017.

More importantly as well is that the reduction of UNAMID forces leads to the removal of the only international witness to the violations of the ruling regime of the National Congress Party, the genocide criminal in the Darfur region. The people of Sudan in Darfur have always advocated the need to strengthen the UNAMID mission and develop its forces by adding troops from Western countries to take an active role in achieving security. Furthermore, the instability in the Darfur region, the continued armed conflict and the continuing crimes of the cloned Janjaweed militias loyal to the ruling (NCP) regime the rapid support forces (RSF) militia all push for the renewal of the joint peacekeeping a Nazi-UNAMID, despite its weak performance, but its departure or the reduction of its personnel or change of its mandate will compromise security and derail the safe unfettered delivery of relief to the needy. Thus, the only international witness will lose the regime’s crimes against the people. More suffering in Darfur would become inevitable and it will result in cloning the ongoing failure in achieving peace to the war-torn Darfur region.

Removal of the Decades Long Trade and Financial US Sanctions

The recent security rapprochement between the administration of new US President Donald Trump and the ruling National Congress Party (NCP) regime could lead to the lifting of trade and economic sanctions entirely by the first half of July 2017 as decided by former US President Barack Obama at the last moment of the end of his term in office.

The rewarding of the genocidal criminal, the fugitive from the international justice, has become the justice of this era of decadence, where politicians in the international community are running behind interests humanity has become something of the past that has no place in the world of international politics today under the hegemony  of the single pole! Thus, the pre-existing interests come before the values preserved in the corridors of the UN building in New York, Manhattan!

Edmund Burke the British-Irish Politician, Author, Orator, Political theorist, and Philosopher has been quoted as saying: (All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent).

Isn’t it time for the African Union broken Cylinder to remain silent on the Darfur issue?
This article comes against the backdrop of the news media report that Egypt and Ethiopia call to suspend ICC case against Sudan’s Bashir. http://www.sudantribune.com/spip.php?article62677
In a report to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the situation in Darfur on Thursday 8, 2017, the International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda, urged the 15-member body to take concrete action that would help to arrest suspects of alleged genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the Western Sudan’s region of Darfur, including President Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir. Soon after, the Egyptian Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amr Abdellatif Aboulatta, said the ICC proceedings against al-Bashir must be suspended.

The turn of the Ethiopian Ambassador to the (UN) Tekeda Alemu reported the disappointment of African countries (AU) by the manner in which the (ICC) had been handling the case against al-Bashir. Alemu further reiterated the alleged request of the (AU) for the (ICC) to put an end to the pursuit of the case against the Sudanese President and called to finding what he called it home-grown solutions and adding that referral of the situation in Darfur to the (ICC) would cause more harm than good! http://www.sudantribune.com/spip.php?article62677

The Ethiopian Ambassador to the UN referred to some alleged ongoing efforts to end the conflict in Darfur and that peace process had shown significant progress, but more remained to be done. Alemu tried to blame somebody else (BSE) by diverting call on the Darfur rebel groups to lay down their arms. The armed revolutionary forces are fighting the National Congress Party (NCP) regime for the recovery of the Sudanese State and the looted property of its people. The regime led by the genocidal criminal Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir has been naively repeating that the insurgency has ended in Darfur, while making more than 75% of the state budget for war purposes in Darfur and the two regions by mobilizing the former Janjaweed militias, now the so-called Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to target and kill the unarmed noncombatant civilians populations, demographic change and further crimes against humanity in Darfur. Moreover, the (RSF) militias loot property of citizens, kill innocent civilians, rape and burn villages.

As a reminder, Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir, President of Sudan has been indicted by the (ICC) on the first warrant for arrest was issued on 4 March 2009, the second on 12 July 2010. But he remains at large.
The charges against Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir include https://www.icc-cpi.int/darfur/albashir

Al Bashir Case
The Prosecutor v. Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir
ICC-02/05-01/09
• Five Counts of Crimes against Humanity: Murder, extermination, forcible transfer, torture and rape
• Two Counts of War Crimes: Intentionally directing attacks against a civilian population as such or against individual civilians not taking part in hostilities and pillaging

Three Counts of Genocide: by killing, by causing serious bodily or mental harm and by deliberately inflicting on each target group conditions of life calculated to bring about the group’s physical destruction, allegedly committed at least between 2003 and 2008 in Darfur, Sudan.

After all the above charges in the commission of the heinous crimes, some inhumane people come to defend a criminal who has already admitted the killing of nine thousand or ten thousand Sudanese citizens in Darfur. This is nothing but the superiority of the vested interests over the issues of the nations. Woe to the oppressors and to their supporters against the victims and survivors of the Holocaust. Justice will inevitably be coming even if travel to it becomes prolonged. As expected of tyrants that all of them are trying hard to tickle the back of their ilk. In another version, scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours!

Sudan under the reign of the National Islamic Front (NIF)/ National Congress Party (NCP) regime has been the terrorist haven of choice. AL Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood Movement (MBM) elements fleeing neighbouring countries thrived and sought sanctuary in Sudan and have constructed terrorist training facilities and launched operations from Khartoum in the nineteen nineties. The (NCP) regime has as well harboured not long ago the notorious Ugandan terrorist movement known as The Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), also known as the Lord’s Resistance Movement, led by the fugitive from the international justice Joseph Kony. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=the+ugandan+lord+army&oq=the+ugandan+lord+army+&aqs=chrome..69i57.24365j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

The broken cylinder of the African Union continues to play on the worn out string in support of falsehood that denies the sunlight in broad daylight of the genocidal crimes perpetrated by the NCP leader Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir in the right of the Sudanese Civilian population in the western region of Darfur and he remains fugitive from the international justice, more than eight years on., Unfortunately and without hesitation the wretched African Union (AU) Dictators Club members are unashamedly calling for the closure of the crimes of Omar al-Bashir. It is ironic, funny and wailing that the two countries that call for this farce are Egypt and Ethiopia – Abyssinia – the two countries involved in Dispute and on the verge of waging war between them over the construction of The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, formerly known as the Millennium Dam and sometimes referred to as Hidase Dam, which is a gravity dam on the Blue Nile River in Ethiopia currently under construction. Both Egypt and Ethiopia are populous countries. Egypt has 93 million inhabitants, 95% live along the banks of the Nile and in the Nile Delta.

As of 2015, Ethiopia has a population of 99.39 million. Both the rival countries are yearning to getting the maximum amount of the water the livelihood of their ever increasing populations. Omer al- Bashir’s Sudan is in the middle between the two countries playing the cat and mouse game and does not damn care for the livelihood of the 40.23 million inhabitants. It is clear that this Trinity tries to reconcile themselves at the expense of the victims and survivors of the crimes against humanity, war crimes and genocide in Darfur. The intersection of cross-interests despite the harm to human beings driven by doctrine, the end justifies the means.

The trio must understand that the international community including the United States of America (US) opposed Sudan President’s Omer al-Bashir’s Travel to Saudi Summit that Trump was attending when the US Embassy in Khartoum reiterated that the United States has made its position with respect to Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir’s travel clear,” it said. “We oppose invitations, facilitation, or support for travel by any person subject to outstanding International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrants, including President Bashir.” http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/patrick-goodenough/us-opposes-sudan-presidents-travel-saudi-summit-trump-attending

Linda Lou Chavez the American author, commentator, and radio talk show and the Fox News analyst, Chairman of the Center for Equal Opportunity has been quoted as have said: (The United Nations has become a largely irrelevant, if not positively destructive institution, and the just-released U.N. report on the atrocities in Darfur, Sudan, proves the point.)

Myth of Expecting National Congress Party Regime in Sudan Reforming itself

Myth of Expecting National Congress Party Regime in Sudan Reforming itself

By Mahmoud A. Suleiman

No Resolution to the Sudanese Crises but the Departure of the NCP regime

The people of Sudan and the genuinely serious opposition bodies have been watching the US-led international conspiracy plan through the African Union (AU) and its high-profile organisation AU High Level Implementation Panel (AUHIP) , which is headed by  the former South African President Thabo Mbeki , who is working to impose a political settlement through the so-called soft landing that keeps in power the reformed National Congress Party (NCP) regime. The (NCP) regime continues utilising the “divide-and rule” doctrine, waging civil wars of attrition, plundering the country’s resources for empowerment and tirelessly working to get some cheap opposition parties who run behind self-interest in complete disregard to the rights of the Sudanese citizens the names of whom are used to commit crimes of deceit to participate in the ranks of the corrupt (NCP) entity.

The danger of this scheme to the future of Sudan in general the Sudanese and its  people in particular is a catastrophic threaten to the remaining unity of the country and its stability and sovereignty, in light of the continuation of the Islamic regime and its failed policies. Based on the foregoing, there seems no option has been  left for the disenfranchised Sudanese public and the  components of genuine Sudanese opposition, both civilian and armed, but to go ahead with committed plan in which is the supreme interest of the masses of people of Sudan to overthrow the dictatorial regime as the sole gateway to resolve the crises of the country which exacerbated by the continuing policies driven by the US, EU interests linked to the prolongation of the survival of the policies of corruption and tyranny under the leadership of the genocidal criminal, fugitive from the international justice, Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir and his obsequious corrupt criminal entourage.

The so-called ‘National Document Conclusion’, the outcome of the infamous Wathba Dialogue in place of the AU Roadmap, is nothing but travesty of potential just lasting peace forcibly denied.

The current call by the Troika and the EU embassies in Khartoum for the rebel movements to join the NCP  concocted  ‘National Document’ does not make justice. The Western countries opted for their own agenda and regional interests of supporting the genocidal regime in lieu of the agreed interests of NCP regime stem the illegal migration from the Horn of African countries to the European shores via the Mediterranean Sea and Libya along with the alleged fighting of terrorism by the onetime sponsor of terrorism, the National Congress Party (NCP)/ National Islamic Front (NIF) – an Irony to its core. The Troika and the EU could have done a better job had they called for revitalization of the AU Roadmap refused signing by the NCP delegation to the Addis Ababa last year. The Roadmap addressed all aspects for reaching lasting peace in Sudan. The hurdle to the peace in Sudan remains revolving around the interest of the International Community for The ruling regime of the National Congress Party (NCP) remains in power in Sudan with the reform of it, not the removal of it, but the international community overlooks very important fact that the (NCP) regime has been severely deformed and distorted to the degree that it cannot be reformed; as the late Dr. John Garang Mabior has been quoted to have said years ago. In the circumstances, the people of Sudan will not be cowed and the democracy they have been yearning for will inevitably be achieved.

Peace will never be achieved as long as the country is held hostage by the NCP Regime. The regime wants the entire Sudanese people to give up and rubber-stamp the treaty the clauses of the so called which are drafted according to conditions of the conqueror imposed on the defeated  as in so called Wathba” Dialogue outcomes, aka Sudan National Dialogue Document (NDD) along with the disfigured and amended  2005 Transitional Constitution of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) where the regime’s National Assembly stripped it off the clauses advocating and calling for the preservation of public freedoms. The parliament of the regime granted absolute and unaccountable powers to the disreputable security apparatus, the National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) and enabled it to arbitrarily arrest, detain, torture, confiscate whenever it wants and as it wishes without any accountability or interference by the authorities; in complete impunity. The Sudanese people and their opposition are not expected to surrender to such conditions which will never help them achieve democracy, the rule of law, good governance and promotion of human values such as freedom, human rights and social justice. The refusal of the Sudanese people to surrender has been continuing since the National Islamic Front (NIF) undermined the democratically elected government through the ill-fated military coup d’état on Friday night, June 30, 1989 in spite of the fact that the then National Islamic Front (NIF) was represented in the Parliament as one of the Sudanese political parties at the time. With the systematic and planned reneging of negotiated peace agreements with the parties in dispute and further waging wars by the NCP regime of all the efforts of the Sudanese opposition components to reach to just sustainable peace and complete democratic transformation. Therefore, there remains no option but escalation of resistance in the form of uprising including public disobedience against the State of the global Muslim Brotherhood Freemasonry Movement (MBM) for ousting it; as did the Sudanese people before in October 21, 1964 and April 6 1985, are best models. The Sudanese masses in their different components are longing, amid the ongoing (NCP) deprivation of their aspiration for freedom, equality, justice, peace, and democracy. This regime led by the genocidal castaway criminal Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir is no stranger to commit abominable actions against the country for the sake of his survival in the helm for his protection from the apprehension by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the heinous crimes he has committed against the Sudanese civilian populations in Darfur, Nuba Mountains in south Kordofan, Ingessana in South Blue Nile  state, Beja people in Eastern Sudan and the Nubians in the far North of Sudan in Areas of dams on the River Nile in Amri, Kajbar, Shiraik and Dal. Let alone the massacre carried out by the infamous security apparatus the National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) and allied Janjaweed militias of the Rapid Support Force (RSF) in September 27, 2013 when more than two hundred peaceful civilian demonstrators were killed in Khartoum and arbitrarily arrested and tortured detainees. The Human Rights Watch said that “Instead of investigating these crimes, the NCP government has been using brutality and violence to silence perceived opponents. https://www.hrw.org/news/2014/04/21/sudan-no-justice-protest-killing

Besides humiliating and annihilating the Sudanese citizens, Omer al-Bashir has weakened the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and replaced it by the cloned former Janjaweed militias into the notorious Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for his fear  of a military coup ousting him and his criminal regime by (SAF). The genocidal Bashir has also destroyed all the productive institutions of the country such as al-Gezira Irrigated Agricultural Project, as well as the Sudan Airways, the Sudanese Shipping Lines and sold wide swathes of  the Sudanese land to foreign agents in lieu for millions of dollars that have been pocketed by his cronies. The worst was his driving of the Sudanese citizens of Southern Sudan through racism orchestrated by his supremacist maternal uncle and other bigot associates. Thus, this fugitive from the international justice did not leave any harm to the Sudanese people, but did not hesitate to implement it for the sake of continuing ruling the country to protect his criminal self.

The cholera epidemic has officially been called watery diarrhea to hide the truth:

The NCP regime’s willful neglect of its responsibilities is well documented but the most hideous recent one is the one continuing happening in the Sudanese states including the Capital Khartoum of the Cholera epidemic but the authorities refusing to tell the truth and labeling the epidemic as just watery diarrheas. Cholera epidemic has killed thousands in Sudan. The worst affected areas are the White Nile State from where it kept stretching towards Khartoum, El-Gezira irrigated scheme, Sennar and North Kordofan and the situation is serious in Kosti and lately the disease reached the Nile River State city of al-Matamma in the Northern region . In spite of the government’s secrecy  about  the cholera epidemic and calling it watery diarrhoea, the United States of America (US) Embassy in Khartoum on June 1, 2017 (KHARTOUM) – U.S. Embassy in Sudan Thursday has warned its American nationals against a cholera outbreak in the east African country including the greater Khartoum metropolitan area.. http://www.sudantribune.com/spip.php?article62612

By describing the water-borne disease (Cholera Epidemic) caused by the organism Vibrio Cholerae as a “acute watery diarrhoea”, the Sudanese government is risking the lives of the Sudanese people and depriving them the potential help obtainable internationally, in particular from the World Health Organisation (WHO) when the disease is formally declared by the Sudanese Government.

Participating in the Wathba Dialogue under injustice is nothing but a humiliating surrender and contrary to established principles of humanity and a kind of the dialogue of the deaf.

There is no solution to the problems of Sudan except to overthrow the ruling regime of the National Congress Party as contained in the opposition agreements

At this juncture, one would like to delve into the conundrum which relates to the former US President Barak Obama’s last minute Executive Order (EO) in which he decided partially lifting the economic and trade sanctions imposed on the then the hard-line National Islamic Front (NIF) ruled Sudan by the US former 42 President of the US Bill Clinton in 5 November 1997 for harbouring international terrorism and its human rights abuses. At the time, President Bill Clinton’s action put Sudan in the same category as Iran, Burma and Cuba as countries with which the United States refuses to do business even though other nations, including U.S. allies, continue normal trade. There is a disaster in the making by 13 July 2017 in which Obama scheduled to lift all sanctions on Sudan Without clear conditions other than some vague words. The ruling National Congress Party (NCP) regime began obsequiously to provide services to the new US administration of President Donald Trump in the form of opening the largest US intelligence center in the Middle East and Africa in Khartoum. The head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has visited Khartoum. On the other hand, Sudanese security chief Atta al-Mowla has exchanged the visit to Washington DC. Right now, we were as though poised to witness the sanctions lifted unconditionally before mid-July 2017. Let us make it clear that one does not stand against the nation in gaining more benefit, but we do not encourage anyone to support the NCP ruling regime to enable it to commit more abominable crimes against the people of Sudan by using that support to strengthen the Janjawid militias and wage wars and increase the wealth for the Parasitic capitalists belonging to the corrupt regime. When deciding on lifting U.S. sanctions on the (NCP) regime, President Donald Trump should consider human rights abuses in Sudan. For these reasons, we ask US President Donald Trump not to lift economic and trade sanctions on the criminal regime in Sudan only after the implementation and ensuring that the following conditions are met:

  • maintaining a cessation of hostilities in conflict areas in Sudan; the regime continues waging war in the restive regions in Sudan using the proxy genocidal Janjaweed militias known as Rapid Support Forces (RSF)
  • improving humanitarian access throughout Sudan
  • cooperation in addressing regional conflicts (including those in South Sudan and with the Lord’s Resistance Army)
  • Cooperating with the United States to counter terrorism.
  • Human Rights and Peace track could be tied to a new set of smart, modernized network sanctions (i.e., asset freezes targeting a network of individuals and entities, rather than a single person) that spare the Sudanese public and target those who commit atrocities, including air strikes on villages, attacks on churches, obstruction of humanitarian aid, the jailing and torturing of journalists and the undermining of peace efforts. http://time.com/4798594/trump-sudan-sanctions-aid-corruption-terrorism/
  • Stop the corruption to enrich self and money laundering

Therefore, short-sighted counterterrorism and intelligence exchange are not enough for appeasing the US to lift the decades-long sanctions while the NCP regime continues undeterred supporting Jihadist Islamist terrorist groups in Libya and Egypt and elsewhere secretly. This is evidenced by groups of Muslim Brotherhood fugitives from Egypt living in the neighborhoods of the capital, Khartoum, who have been manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IED), as well as jihadist extremists who attack Christian churches in Sudan along with the persecution of religious minorities and applying  draconian Sudan’s public order laws, infamous Article 152 of Sudan’s 1991 Criminal Act of flogging women on dress code In addition to the charge of apostasy and the issuance of death sentences. Moreover, those who dare to defend human rights such as Dr. Mudawi Ibrahim Adam, who was charged with undermining the constitutional order and waging war against the state has been on and off in detention since December 2016. The recent decision of his detention has been taken by the newly appointed Attorney-General in Sudan and was issued on 26 April 2017 at the request of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) to reopen the investigation into the case of human rights defenders.

In order to continue the restive situation in the Darfur region, the (NCP) government forces and the allied Janjaweed militias known as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to wage new war by

attacking the positions under the control of the Sudan Liberation Movement- (SLA/M) led by Minni Menawi in eastern and central Darfur, which resulted in the loss of lives on both sides in addition to the intimidation, displacement and killing of citizens of these areas, despite previous statements by the head of the ruling National Congress Party Omar al-Bashir that the insurgency has ended in Darfur. The regime showed that it violated the ethics of war by revealing the prisoners of war (POWs) in bad conditions on the state-owned television. The worst of these were the orders of the Governor Anas Omer the Governor of the state of East Darfur not to bury the dead bodies of the SLM and leave them to be eaten by wolves and hawks, in clear violation of the principles of human respect for the sanctity of the dead. This Anis Omer is one of the members of the Islamic (NCP) regime, which fills the whole of Sudan with lies and chants that they are practicing and applying shari’a laws. Thus, Hypocrisy reached the top par excellence. The NCP regime and its founding father National Islamic Front (NIF) claimed that they are the protectors of the Islamic religion in Sudan and called for the application of Sharia Laws on the people of Sudan, but their hypocrisy has soon surfaced by their disregard to all the taboos forbidden by the true Islamic religion and all other heavenly religions and the human rights.

The Holy Qur’an in Sura AA-Imran (3) Juz 4 Aya 185 translation of meanings says: (Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). That is the Great Truth of Allah Almighty.

Failures of NCP Regime

The recent events in the Darfur region have refuted the lies of the (NCP) government about   the calm situation in the region where it waged war using the Rapid Support Force (RSF) allied to it and attacked the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army Minni Minnawi (SLM/A MM) forces in North and East Darfur during the period 21 May 2017 – May 20, 2017.  This fierce battle confirms that the Darfur issue can only be solved within the framework of resolving the comprehensive Sudanese crisis because it is an integral part of the deep crisis facing the country. The power thirsty warmongering (NCP) regime will never allow peace comes to Sudan. Furthermore, it will continue evading and reneging agreements to gain time and mislead the parties as well as the international community. Therefore, there are no solutions to the issues of the people of Sudan while the ruling regime of the National Congress Party (NCP) led by the genocidal criminal, fugitive criminal of international justice, Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir remains in power.

All the factors are now available for mass movement which requires more mobilization and cohesion in order to extract democratic rights and freedoms and improve living conditions until the comprehensive intifada, the general political strike, civil disobedience to overthrow the regime with a view to the establishment of the democratic alternative agreed by all sectors of the Sudanese public. The Sudanese people would then convene the economic conference during a transitional period agreed upon. That step would culminate into the holding of free, fair and transparent general elections under international and regional observation thus, allowing for democratic national governance. This compensating citizens affected by the scourge of war will follow. Transitional justice will be applied along with the prosecution of criminals. Furthermore, the extradition of fugitives from international justice to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, the Netherlands would inevitably follow. At that moment, the Sudanese people will have no regret for the demise of the callous cruel brutal (NCP) merchants of death. The Sudanese citizens like many human beings around the globe will say chanting: (We are stronger and better than those who seek to divide and destroy us.) https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/carnage-at-london-bridge-and-borough-market-as-terrorists-target-revellers-78z5wd0z0.
